I use the Airspy HF+ Discovery on your list for LF as well as the Elad FDM-S2. Currently, my only activity on LF is 2200m where I use the HF+ with a homebrew ferrite loopstick for that band. I need the built-in preamp of the HF+ because the output of the loopstick is quite low compared to a longwire.
I use sdr's exclusively because of the high powerline noise levels that I must contend with. I haven't seen a "box" radio have the versatility in dealing with noise that sdr software has, but maybe (hopefully) that's changed with newer technology. Ray ... swlem3
