Bruce, Based on issues I've had at my summer QTH in southern ME, I'd suggest that your receiving setup is producing the second harmonic of NAA on 24 kHz in Cutler, ME. The trouble would usually be in in an overloaded preamp, but I don't know the details of your receiving setup. For detective work purposes, you could try inserting a 24 kHz trap in the antenna ahead of any preamp. John, W1TAG
