Hi Lou, I have several transmitter schematics from the golden age of Lowfer activity that used fundamental crystals. I can put a copy in the mail to you at Saranac Lake. I can scan and email the schematic to you if you send me your email. I found that a Hartley type FET (MPF-102) oscillator seemed to work best with a FET buffer. One has to "adjust" the component values until the oscillator starts and runs smoothly. I always proto-type on a push-pin breadboard to play with the design. 73.
