Just changed battery in Hifer PBJ

Hi,

I have just changed out the battery in my Hifer at about 13.557 Mhz.
Had taken one of the old ones to work and put in a DC load in my lab. The 12V 7Ah gel cell immediately started dropping voltage dramatically with just a few hundred mA of current draw.
So I determined it was end of life and a quick order to Amazon got me a new gel cell in two days.
Reports appreciated.
